Resident Program

Application information

Dear Applicant:

Thank you for your interest regarding our residency. Attached please find informational material describing our program.

The residency is for 4 years (excluding surgery). The surgical year must be taken at Temple. There is no need to apply separately for surgery. If you MATCH our program, you will be accepted into the Surgery Program as well. To receive information and application log onto: http://www.nrmp.org.

In order to complete your application, we must have the following credentials: medical school transcript, otolaryngology match number, at least two letters of recommendation, Dean’s Letter, an ECFMG certificate if applicable, and a personal statement. Photo is optional. If you have requested recommendation letters through your CAS application, there is no need to send additional letters. Just complete the form on the back of this packet & return.

The deadline for submission of all credentials is November 1st. After the applications have been reviewed, you will be receiving a letter stating whether or not you’ve been chosen for an interview. Please DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE, YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED EITHER WAY, BY PHONE OR EMAIL. INTERVIEWS WILL BE SCHEDULED IN

  • 4th yr. Post Grad - $46,828.00

Prerequisites
The Department supports resident travel for presentations at national meetings. Funding is available for resident research.
